MCI is a 1 year full-time or 2-3 year part-time program designed to meet the needs of clinicians in healthcare institutions who desire to incorporate scientifically sound research into their clinical practice.

The goal of the program is to equip clinicians with the basic methodologic and practical skills to design and conduct clinical investigations that are relevant to patient care. The MCI program will also provide the foundation for those who may wish to pursue advanced clinical research training, including that leading to a PhD degree. Scholarships from the Ministry of Health are available for Singapore citizens and permanent residents.
