We greatly welcome and appreciate the support of our contributing surgeons/clinicians, without which the Tissue Bank will not exist.  You can contribute to the STR either as an individual clinician or as part of a contributing department. Simply complete the ‘Request to Initiate New Collection’ form (a copy is available on this website) and submit it to the Assistant Manager, who will obtain information about your operating days and arrange to receive your OT list. Once the agreement is set up, our staff will approach your patients before surgery to obtain consent and harvest tissues subsequently in the OT. Subsequently, we will direct PIs who request for material you have contributed to engage you as a collaborator in their project and offer you authorship in any publications that ensue.
