We greatly appreciate your act of altruism and generosity in participating in our research efforts and promise to do our best to safeguard your interests and ensure appropriate handling of your donation. Your attending doctor is aware that our staff will approach you to explain the process of donation and obtain your consent. The materials you are donating have to be removed as part of your clinical management and nothing will be used for research until completion of the diagnostic process. This is an outright donation that will not benefit you personally in any way but the results of research arising from your donation will lead to better understanding of diseases and treatment for future patients. We respect your privacy and we treat confidentiality as a matter of utmost importance. Your donation will be de-identified and your personal details will not be released to any researcher.
