FAQ

Who has reviewed and approved the protocol?
Before a clinical trial is approved, the potential risks and benefits are weighed. Only if the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks will a study be approved by regulatory bodies and ethics committees. This safeguards the highest ethical standards for research involving human volunteers.

If I am a volunteer, can I choose not to participate or withdraw from the clinical trial anytime?
Yes, you can only participate in a clinical trial after giving informed consent and withdraw anytime should you decide to.

Do I have to pay for the tests and procedures?
The patient/volunteer does not have to pay for all tests and procedures regarding the clinical trial.

Will I be reimbursed for other expenses?
For most clinical trials there is compensation, at varying quantum, for time and travel.
